I cant think of another actor who can make a monologue about drinking milkshakes so engrossing. Had me on the edge of my seat AND craving a vanilla milkshake too!

Eric Roberts in Star 80, most under appreciated performance ever. The man played real life creep Paul Snider with such conviction that according to his own words, the movie stopped him from getting p*ssy for three years because women couldn't see past the role. :deadmanny:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
denzel in malcolm x... to the point when someone mentions malcolm, i think of denzel before the real person

he played 3 different roles to perfection

the naive youngster with spike in the beginning... up until he joined up with the white girls and that other guy.................

then played the thug role to a t.. crazy ass thug nikka until he got to jail...........

then flipped that shyt into the malcolm we all know and love.......

and really a 4th when he went to africa and came home, but that was only like 20 mins so i'll group that in

all 3 acts were flawless

If you think DDL was great in There Will Be Blood... watch John Huston in Chinatown.. Not only does he steal that movie, but that performance was probably the biggest influence for DDL's potrayal of Daniel Plainview.
