Javier Bardem - No Country For Old Men

Christoph Waltz - Inglorious b*stards

Jamie Foxx - Ray

These two not even close

Christopher Waltz did good in IG...but if you look at Django..he basically had the same manuerisms

I will dispute Ray though because that was just a good performance

You right about Django. King Shultz was kinda like a good guy version of Hans Landa, but it was still a dope performance non the less.

What about Anton Chigur? I know he wasn't in the movie as much (maybe 1/4 of the movie), but every time he got on screen, you couldn't help but pay attention. The tension rising and anxiety building up at certain scenes of his is worth mentioning.

name a comparative or better performance...I dare you:beli:

Al pacino in Godfather part 1 & 2

Robert De Niro in Raging Bull and Taxi Driver

Denzel Washington in Malcolm X

Casey Affleck in the Assassination of Jesse james by the Coward Robert Ford

Tom hardy in Bronson

Daniel Day lewis in gangs of New York, My left Foot, and In the Name of the Father

I can keep going if you like; its one of the greatest performances ever, yes, but there are comparable performances as well
