I would be really pissed if Poorna is actually playing John's love interest. Everything else about the show seems good so far. If that happens, it would bring down the show some notches.

I really hope it's not true or that the romance is very brief and he gets a different love interest.

That's not what I see online. The rumors are that Poorna is playing John's love interest and Kelly is playing Hal's love interest. If true, that would be two massive Ls. Gunn better not do that BS.

John should be with Katma Tui or Vixen (or even Merced's Hawkgirl). Hal should be with Carol Ferris (Star Sapphire).

Of course actors play younger characters all the time but she’s not someone that can play late 20s early 30s which is probably the age range John will be in.

Everything I’ve seen her in she’s been a mother or an older woman. Unless the story involves John being involved with an older woman, if the rumor is true , it’s a wild choice.
