Yup, the show really found its footing in season 2 and has continued the momentum ever since. Legends and Black Lightning are the best of the CW Arrowverse shows.

Loved how they brought back Rory's erotic writing and had it tie into the story in a great way. Poor guy had to write a magical love interest for himself, in order to get laid 
. I'm sure the Waverider should have some next level porn though, although he was still using a typewriter to type.
Ray defending Nora with the sword, reminded me of the King Arthur episode where he became a knight. I bet she gets out on good behavior though.
