Never heard of black Adam or hawk man.

can y’all point me to some reading material or shows to watch so I can get familiar with the characters?
During the early 2000s they were both apart of the jsa at a point. That run is the best I could suggest off the top of my head besides reading their wikis.
Like dude just said Hawkmans history is a shytshow.

So of course they give the role to a brother on the come up.

The Geoff Johns JSA series is probably your best bet for the versions of both these characters that will likely be what we see in the movie.

Johns' Hawkman series from the same time is goid too because they streamlined Hawkman's origin. The current Hawkman series is good too.

Black Adam got the spotlight in the 52 series as well as in Villains United.

I'd also check out the World War III event series because Black Adam played a major role in that too.

The racist white nerds are going to lose their shyt if they make Hawkman black.:russ:

It's funny how The Rock and Jason Momoa, two half polynesians, can be cast as originally Arab and White characters (respectfully) without any peep from these nerds, but as soon as they cast a Black person all hell breaks loose.

Rock's heritage spans Canada and the Pacific Islands but sure, he looks ambiguous enough that people will buy him as an Arab/Egyptian :mjlol:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I'm just glad some other DC characters like Black Adam, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, etc. are finally getting attention. Now if only someone in movies or live action television would give my man Vic Sage a chance.

If the script ain't good, who cares if they get attention. We've seen easy money guys like Dr. Doom screwed up.
