Terrible idea. Hal Jordan is THE Green Lantern and deserves better. DC is dumb for considering a fifty-something midget who leaves his fingerprints all over every movie he does. I guess WB has forgotten all about Universal's Mummy disaster. I'd rather they cast a fairly unknown person or at least someone who isn't a mega star. You cast Tom Cruise as GL, and people will only see Tom Cruise.

It's a rumor about a DC movie...it doesn't matter if it's true or even tangentially based on anything factual it will still go 10 pages.
Chris Pine would have made the perfect Green Lantern but they fukked that up by putting him in Wonder Woman
There was a rumor a few years ago that he was offered his choice of WW or GL and he chose WW. Which is weird to me because why WOULDN’T you want to lead your own franchise instead of playing second fiddle?
But seeing how terrible those first run DC movies turned out. Breh played it smart
Because we are black and we grew up watching John Stewart kick ASS and be treated respectfully on the JL/JLU cartoon. Which back then was virtually unheard of.

Only reason I knew there were 2 Green Lanterns was because my dad use to watch the old Justice Friends cartoon.The JL/JLU animated series was HUGE. And not everyone had access to the comics like that. shyt, I had homies who grew up thinking John was the only GL
