Thought we were leaving the Marvel/DC thing in 2019? 
DC makes better comic book movies at the end of the day.

They don't.
The best DC movie in this era is MOS and that in and of itself is flawed. Joker is boring, derivative and whole premise is centered on not being a comic book movie "comic book movie". Even if you like it in a vacuum, calling a comic book movie trying not to be a comic book movie made by someone who hates comic book movies is fukking asinine.
The best thing DC has going for them is their animation and even with all of the sleeper shyt they got on that end...none of them have the acclaim of Into The Spiderverse, shyt is a wash in every direction. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy the good shyt they do put out or be hopefull that they figure out where they want to take their characters in the wake of the DCEU failure. I still check for everything they do because I love comic book films/shows. I'm looking forward to the new Wonder Woman.

Nah, Pheonix is a brilliant actor, but his 'Joker' is not anything like Heath's, nor is it meant to be as per the director and lead actors intentions to avoid him becoming the Joker from the comics.
What it is...is the director of Hangover ripping off several Scorsese films (taxi driver and king of comedy specifically) and hiding his character study behind Batman lore in order to take a dig at and capitalize off of the comic book movie genre.
If you took bits and pieces from The Aviator and Shutter Island, made some vague connections to Batman lore and called it Riddler you'd have yourself a DC sponsored Todd Phillips movie.

I been watching and pointing out the hypocrisy. Hey they wanted that Joker movie to fail so bad and it excelled in any area. You want box office, it did a billion on a small ass budget. You want industry recognition, it just racked up 11 Oscar noms. Stop.. they want this to be xbox vs. playstation

They weren't complaining a year ago, it was all MCU emojis lol. Now DC movies and TV have a bunch of hits and they wanna complain. @obarth seen it. We've all seen it.

Most of my "reviews" of MCU movies are positive. So when I say it's their fault it's because it is.. I didn't go around complaining about Black Panther because I loved it and it deserved the recognition it received. just like The Dark Knight and Joker.
