Not to mention most of our music has profanity, drugs, sex, struggle and violence, which is a shame, because the beats are fire. Our kids hear all those lyrics in the car going to school, at BBQs, etc. Those words repeated over and over in your head are not good. Hell, how often is the black experience described as constant struggle? The kids expect to struggle, and don’t have enough self reflection, because they think being black is automatically holding them back. We have to work harder, but there aren’t enough of us putting the effort in. Your thoughts affect your life.

It's crazy, if you read this board, you'd think these people don't know any real Black people. Like REAL regular 9-5 hardworking Black people. Which is why I think this board is full of agents. I don't know any Black folks who celebrate degenerates.

It is not full of agents and nobody is arguing that most of Black folks are NOT regular and hardworking and just like any other types of people want the best for their kids and themselves (good education, good healthcare, good public safety etc...) .
I even made the point in my first post in this thread when someone tried to make a CAUSALITY argument between violent crimes and poverty saying that the overwhelming majority of Black people who live in the same environment (i.e. poor neighborhood) as those few who want to terrorize their communities with violence and criminality do not resort to those same actions instead are good hard working people. Now that's established.
You still have to ask the question why is it that we (especially our young people) are overrepresented in violent crime and specifically fatal ones such as murders as both victims and perpetrators even if you adjust for socio-economic status in comparison to other groups.
We need to ask these questions even if we acknowledge that most of us are doing the right thing in life doesn't mean that there aren't problems to solve if we as a COLLECTIVE are last at every "good category"/positive metric (i.e. educational attainment, two-parent household, wealth) relative to other groups and first in every negative metric (incarceration, murders, chronic diseases etc...). These questions need to be asked and nobody should shut down the conversation with "agent", "c00n" and "cac" IF the argument and questioning is based on good faith.
If someone got on this thread and were like Black people are inherently violent and inferior, aren't capable of doing better and more eugenics/st0rmfr0nt/racist talk then that deserve to be shut down immediately.
If someone is questioning why a 13 year old is hanging out at 4AM in the morning and questioning why young Black ppl in DC are acting a fool in the streets and in the train then we want to talk about why this is happening on the regular instead of being dismissed with agent and c00n accusations. Just because you have a different viewpoint than someone else does not give you the monopoly of knowing and hanging around "REAL" Black people. I know and grew up around real Black people who are critical of other real Black people whether in their communities families for celebrating/engaging degeneracy.

Our community is made up of more than just "working class black folk". There's also impressionable teenagers and young adults.
And maybe those "working class black folk" you're talking about should start giving a fukk and help take a stand against this shyt. A lot of us already are.
