What’s the story?
So just know that Vic is a piece of shyt, that people outside of his fan base generally don't like dealing with. At all these conventions, these guys get paid, and get a stipend for food for the weekend. This dude will blow through that shyt in a day. Then he'll go around guilt tripping people while on a panel, to go and pay for shyt for him. That's just an example. He's been in the industry forever. I think since the 90's. So he has a reputation of stuff like this, being difficult to work with, and being a creep.
He may have been let from Funimation over some bullshyt. Or it may be because he is a piece of shyt. Basically he got #MeToo'ed. So everyone at Funimation turned around and said that he's a piece of shyt who has been sexual harasser for years. Monica Rial, the voice of Bulma even came out alleged that he did some shyt to her. He's known for getting inappropriate with underage fans at conventions. So they let him go. But because of this he's been let go from multiple projects, some of which were already in production. So he's suing for defamation. The person who released this audio, I believe is his lawyer. One of the people who complained about Vic is Monica Rial's husband, who is more of a piece of shyt, and can't go anywhere around his first two wives. Apparently those two have beef because Vic has stood up to him, and called him out for being a wife beater. On top of that, Chris Sabat (Vegeta, Piccolo, All Might) had been fukking Monica Rial for years now, and maybe still is now that she's married. Which is probably why he's suing. He knows their dirt, and that Funimation may be a toxic workplace.
Not defending Vic. Vic is still a piece of shyt. But this now makes it look like other pieces of shyt, called out a piece of shyt for his behavior, and now he's calling them out on theirs.
