I think they were as strong as Goku, before he started powering up against cell. So they were around 50 percent of where Goku was at.

I would say a close to Goku. Probably a lil weaker. They gave all of em other than SSJ2 Gohan that WORK.

nah because they was thrashin trunks and vegeta and later on trunks kills both androids in his time line. In which he stated earlier that c17 and 18 here were more powerful than the ones he fought..
They was perfect cell level of strength.

I dont think they were as strong as goku cuz yamch, tien, and krillin wouldve been bodied after one punch from them. And they hanged in there.
But it was kinda inconsistent cuz vegeta and trunks shouldve bodied them easily if they were imperfect cell strength.

Toriyama wasn't the best with details sometimes it's best not to think about them. Trunks and Goten never had tails cause he straight up forgot.
