The inevitable "please don't die" chants. :damn:

When Bryan sells any kind of damage to the head people are gonna lose their shyt. Some fans still believe he had a legit seizure on live TV when he was selling a strike from Sheamus, I can only imagine the outrage when he's touching his head after a bump :pachaha:

If he can modify his style, it's a no brainer (don't ask me how). The crazy thing is his real gifts (crispness in the ring, submissions skills, strikes and connection to the crowd) don't really require all the extra dangerous stufd anyway. It's been more unnecessary when you consider that suicide dives and top rope moves are done in pretty much every match. They really add nothing to his moveset anyway.

Exactly. He's that kinda over where he doesn't need to do much beyond basic psychology in the ring and people will eat from his hands because they care about HIM not his moveset.

He paid his dues with all the diving flippy reckless shyt long ago.

I think he's in as bad shape as 50-70% of any wrestler that has been in the biz for more than 10 years (that has wrestled a physical style or a demanding schedule).

People acting like he's a ticking time bomb that's legit 1 bump away from dying in the ring either should stop watching wrestling all together or stop being so damn naive about the state of any top performer.

Oh for sure he's not a glass ball ready to crack at any second, but the issue with Bryan is, and has always been even pre-WWE, is that he doesn't know how to slow down or take it easy. Whenever he's been hurt, his reaction is to go even harder to show he's tough. This goes back to ROH days. I think most people are less thinking he's going to Shibata or Misawa himself, but more like he's going to end up like Dynamite Kid.

I don't think he's gonna wrestle long enough to get fukked up like Dynamite (or someone like Takayama, even before his last injury). The fear of Bryan not being able to restrain himself once he's in the ring is a valid one, but the level of concern at this point has gone a little overboard imo.

And to be honest, it's likely that 3-5 years from now it's gonna be possible to test for CTE and once that happens the whole industry is gonna change, and most likely D-Bry will retire for good :manny:

Yeah... gonna take this line of reasoning to the bushes like Vince went out of his way to retire him when he desperately needs a cash cow and anything to push ratings. When you're having post-match seizures, go limp on one side of your body, and have a reputation of being very erratic backstage. Why you gonna trust him to perform and not be a danger to himself or to anyone else. After what Benoit did to his family... Of crouse WWE gonna take every precaution if they feel Bryan isn't mentally/physically fit to be in the ring. Those concussion have caught up to him and he needs to be semi-retire till his brains heals up for a minute. He needed a break and it's only been 2 1/2 years since he has wrestled. You guys act like it's been a lifetime. He'll probably test out being a part timer in late 2018 or 2019. Vince isn't being spiteful towards the IWC "chosen one". Bryan was a liability at the moment and he needed a break.

I'm talking about fans, not WWE.

Bryan is erratic? That's a new one to add to the cascade of internet well wishes. Steph, Cripple H, and Vince are the ones who are erratic..in case u missed Vince going against Titus early last year and trying to fire him.

And everything u wrote is pure horseshyt..Tommy Dreamer:stopitslime:

this might be cold but why would this fukk have a baby if he still has the urge to wrestle and risk brain damage or death?

Birdie's lil ass wont have a father :camby:

Brock stepped in the ring a month after fighting Mark Hunt for 3 rounds. WWE is about to put the Rock & Roll express in their ring in November. Jeff Hardy is on the roster. Bryan is alright.
