He's still very much a young man and can't do what he loves doing, dude was starting to make real money in 2014 but you can tell that's not a thing for him. .. he's a cat that would be working bingo halls on off days if he was allowed to contractually

It's easy to see why he desperately wants to get back out there, but it's also terrifying because he only knows one speed/way to work

When dude got fired for the Justin Roberts incident, he went back to the indies with ease. I respect that wrestling is in his blood but his life should be a top priority especially concerning his family. Then again, it's a wrestler's vice. Straight up Randy the Ram shyt:ld:

Right. Just wanna see dude get to be an old man with his faculties and kids

If he modified his style a bit I could see him getting back out there, he still gets rock star reactions on sight.

If Steve Austin could modify how he worked when he got hot in 1997 so could DB.

Vicious Kicks and submission holds, he doesn't need dives or a ton of bumps to his head.

Gonna be an interesting 2018 that's for sure.

If he can modify his style, it's a no brainer (don't ask me how). The crazy thing is his real gifts (crispness in the ring, submissions skills, strikes and connection to the crowd) don't really require all the extra dangerous stuff anyway. It's been more unnecessary when you consider that suicide dives and top rope moves are done in pretty much every match. They really add nothing to his moveset anyway.

Anyone here listened to the Edge and Christian podcast he did a while back? Among other things he said that the doctors WWE chose for him to visit all cleared him. I don't think he's in as bad of shape as conventional wisdom believes he is.

I think he's in as bad shape as 50-70% of any wrestler that has been in the biz for more than 10 years (that has wrestled a physical style or a demanding schedule).

People acting like he's a ticking time bomb that's legit 1 bump away from dying in the ring either should stop watching wrestling all together or stop being so damn naive about the state of any top performer.
