It had some missteps but overall I think Kurupt and Terrace Martin delivered a solid project, there was an element of let down in the air when that dropped because it was supposed to be as you thought the Pete Rock helmed album because in a bunch of interviews Kurupt said several times “my next album is completely produced by Pete Rock”.
