Actually other people around that time did say that pac tried to affilate himself with LA based gangs at the time before he was on death row. They said that he never was in a gang though. There was apparently an incident where it backfired on him where some rival gangs chased him down and he hid underneath a car begging for his life. Pac was a follower and a set-hopper. He wanted acceptance and gratification from his peers wherever he went and thus 'morphed' into whoever encircled him. Pac was screaming crip lingo in the Thug Life era, but the moment he stepped onto Death Row he was giving Bloods shoutouts on his songs and tatting MOB on his forearm. I have no idea why people try to claim that he didn't gangbang when his peers have confirmed countless times that he purposely affiliated with Bloods and Crips and intentionally got himself into a lifestyle that he was not built for or even grew up in.
