he is trying to put a restraining order out on this familyBubba’s Q BBQ: The Shark struck a deal for 30% of this brand of homemade boneless ribs for $300 thousand. Growing to over $16 million in revenue in 2017, Daymond’s stake in the business is now worth approximately $4.8 million.
Queens gets the money.Him and Envy both from queens right??
he is trying to put a restraining order out on this family
"The Bakers first appeared on the show in 2013 as they pitched their pre-cooked boneless baby back ribs. They have since claimed that John's $300,000 offer for 30 percent of the company was revised off air to $100,000 for 35 percent. The family alleges that they have received around 4 percent of the publicly stated $16 million in revenue from the business"

The owners of Bubba Q's Boneless Baby Back Ribs claim their experience since appearing on Shark Tank 'has been a nightmare'people.com
the daughter said the reasoning was DJ claimed he'd be more hands-onWhy did they sign the revised deal? Also, does the article state how the rest of the revenue was distributed? It said the case was thrown out by a judge too. I’m not sure if we call him shady or shrewd. I think the Bakers thought he was brother that would be fair in business versus a “Shark”.

he looked shady to me. he seemed like he was:
- using his figure on shark tank to manipulate the contestants into giving in to him. they didn't seem to want to work with someone and he basically told them they'd look shady, shark tank would stop working with them & their business sales would plummet.
-he had a shady team member with a lengthy record working for multiple partners.
-the guy set up their business site & bank account. he had control over it, not them
-they'd ask for records related to finances and not receive them
-they are majority owners but only received about 720k out of 18 million.
-the guy would purposely pay their bills late or not do simple things like set up sales tax.
-they eventually got access to their bank account & saw it had 100k. they convinced DJ to remove the worker from their partnership. The guy shut down their bank account & sent them 8k and kept the rest. DJ said that's what the guy was owed without detailing how.
-others workers say the guy paid them from the BBQ business account even though they worked on shark tank projects that had nothing to do with the BBQ business.
If I got a chance to be on Shark Tank, I would just go for the publicity, here all of the Sharks give out their offers
Then be like hmmmm I'll think I'll pass. And just walk out
That's what most people should be doing they already have winning ideas they just need EXPOSURE...
Don’t they sign some percentage to the show, just being on. May be not ownership but I thought they still had some financial obligations to the show too, if they go on shark tank. I could be wrong.Breh that's what I be thinking. They literally come on the show with businesses that ALREADY got consistent revenues, decent branding, loyal customers, distributors, etc.... and they deadass asking the Sharks to take 60% of their company
