Bro I love joey, but he has NEVER been an elite lyricist. Even at his best. But especially now. He was actually a better lyricist at 17 than he is now. Joey doesn't really have many great verses like that. A lot of his raps are just on some "I'm the best" type shyt. Nothing really profound or thought provoking. He's always been a B level writer. He can hang with the asap Rocky's and action Bronsons of the world. But daylyt. Kendrick. Soul. No way. Those guys are truly a different level.
