We are living thru an era in rap that believes the lower your IQ the higher your likability, thinking is too hard and too much of a burden, ain't nobody got time for that. Hip hop was always a youth artform, but its actually devolving from a youth artform to a child artform, in terms of mental ability. Rap went from high school back to middle school in the last 10 years, complexity was always like eating your vegetables in hip hop but now its more like drinking poison, lol, they have a total aversion to it now

this was and off beat than a mothafukka, a couple clever set-ups and entendres do not make a verse dope by themselves.


EDIT: Listened to it again, not a fan of his delivery and I wasn't fukkin with the first minute and a half at all but after that it was decent.

This shyt was alien levels lyrically. But you're right, I'm not a fan because he has one of the worst deliveries for a superior mc I've ever heard, he is running out of breath like crazy and a lot of the shyt comes out unclear in a lot of his freestyles. To a lot of these battle rappers a beat is like kryptonite
