South Carolina coach Dawn Staley spoke with media following the 106-63 win over Memphis, and gave context to Fulwiley's injury.
“She’s alright, I think she twisted her ankle a little bit," Staley said. "Sometimes with players like that, they’ve never been hurt, when they get hurt it scares them more than anything. And she’s a pretty shy individual. So when she gets hurt, all eyes are on her forever. And she doesn’t like when people are looking at her, not in that way. She loves when they’re looking at her when she’s showcasing her generational talent, but not in that fashion.”
