You need to know what it is to fix it properly by correcting whatever caused it due to muscle imbalance/weakness. Pay someone who knows and then you'll know because it could be rotator cuff, AC, tedons, scapular or even referred pain from elsewhere.

Failing that increase the bloodflow by using light resistance bands through the full range of motion very slowly and mindfully. Also bump up your Vitamin C to 3 grams per day and massage the area vigorously as well.

It's been like 7 months now. :snoop:

Took me an entire year for my shoulders to heal. I remember feeling the same as you do. I got scared and thought it was permanent. But the doctor told me it would be several months probably a year and he was indeed correct.

After a year I was back to normal.

I had torn rotator cuffs.

I messed my shoulder up once taking the bar off the rack while doing incline bench press.

Long story short. Incorporating very light weight lateral and front raises helped me. Every situation and injury is different.

I was maybe a couple months in total where I set myself back a few times trying to over do it when I thought I was better. At 7 months better to get checked out.
