Not really. A lot of Ghanaians and Nigerians be trying to leave. I know at 4 Ghanaians trying to come to the states now. Their economies are not good.

And the expat life requires a lot of money if you want to go over there and make it. Don’t think you can touch down with 50k and live like a king. And shyt is different over there. For example, if you want to rent an apartment, 9 times out of 10, you gotta pay a year up front.

At the ended the day, most African countries see FBA as yankee Americans.

This is what I have noticed from my interactions. physically we look the same or similar, but culturally and ethnically we are American.

I mean anyone with common sense knows that moving to developing countries is never going to be an easy ride. Africa is a place of extremes. Those with means live incredible lives, and those without means - struggle.

Some of these countries are rich in natural resources as well as population, but economical and governmental instability - for which the US and allies are responsible for some - leads to migration, brain and manpower drain - which keeps these countries in a perennial state of not moving forward (at least not as quickly as they could) - and allows them to be exploited by western powers, as well as China. Corruption is also rife and their politicians will sell the whole country for a few more 00s in their bank accounts.

Nigeria is excellent for investment
Your money will go a very long way

Strongly recommend checking on any ongoing projects routinely and traveling back and forth as opposed to settling to live full time/ permanently
😌
And even then
Try to live around areas like this

I mean, it’s been like this for literal decades. The US and allies have funded coups, supplied weaponry, training and fueled civil conflicts all over the continent. The lifestyle afforded in the west doesn’t happen by happenstance

This is why I always laugh at the anti-migrant and “fleeing” rhetoric and sentiment on thecoli. It’s such a juvenile view of the world and you can tell it’s largely from people that don’t read much. The US and its allies have a moral, ethical and financial responsibility to the displaced people they are the root cause of.

If you were born in the US, you already won the lottery for black people. No, it’s not perfect here, but look at those of us who make it and how many of us do. That’s not happening everywhere else.
