Exactly. And to say some shyt like the things that Ali went through had nothing to do with race is ignorant. And to top it off, the real reason he thinks that way is what he said at the end:

he actually played hakeem pretty evenly outside of that one playoff series...he was solid against shaq too. but yeah, shaq bodied him a lot
and people forget, even after the injuries and him getting up there in age, drob was still a high level player during his first few years with timmay. he was a great defender right till the end, too.

I respect D Rob as a person & he's definitely one of the greatest physical specimens/athletes the game has ever seen, but I think he's on eof the most overrated players of the 90's.
For a player with his physical gifts/athleticism, he should've been more dominant.He never seemed to have a passion for the game.He was out there collecting stats, but it was like he was on cruise control.
I remember zero memorable moments from him....no pre Duncan playoff glory.Where's his big game/ big shots/big play highlights?When the games really mattered.Despite the shiny stats, he always faded into the background

Phenomenal person...phenomenal athlete, but breh got Hall Of Fame stats playing in his sleep.Just imagine if he had more fire & competitiveness? He could've easily been the GOAT.He settled for being a Robin, tho.Batman (Duncan) had to get him a ring.
