We're talking about an entire country here. This ain't like staying away from Crenshaw and living in Malibu. Even people who leave the country are just doing enough here to move back and live comfortably. You don't have to be in the hood to get tried out there. You can get tried at any red light. After the way they treat Haitians and seeing how many folks have died in being in their resorts in recent weeks, the DR has long been a no no for me

The crazy thing about it tho breh is you’ll see Haitians working at these resorts tho and a lot of Dominicans (darker ones tho lol, the white ones wasn’t nothin but Spanish speaking cacs) go out of their way to fly you in when they see you Black from the States.

A friend of mine came back from there not that long ago and was talking about the growing conscious community out there. So maybe at some of these demons will be addressed.
