Mo Speights got more minutes than he did last season. He seemed to lose confidence after Draymond took his spot. He used to have a mean midrange jumper but he lost it. It's not about penny pinching, it's about not wanting to pay 15 million plus an extra 3.5 million in luxury tax just for him alone when he's the 3rd power forward in your rotation. That's 18.5 million for Lee when you basically won 67 games without him.
I know it's not monopoly money, but if Dray or Speights suffer a serious injury y'all will regret this move

Nah breh. We still got McAdoo who at the very least could at least defend his position. Worse comes to worst we still got Looney to get some spot minutes. 18.5 mill for a 3rd string PF is too much.

Starting Iggy had more of an impact that giving David Lee about 8 minutes a game. Dude defense is trash, which is why he couldn't crack the rotation.

IGGY HAD MORE OF AN IMPACT, TRUE, BUT DAVID LEE'S IMPACT ON THE INSIDE OUT+PICK IN ROLL GAME IN THE LAST FEW GAMES OF THE FINALS IS UNDENIABLE.

Not worth the price tag still.

At least the Celtics aren't complete trash. He

Nice trade for boston golden state should have been more patient in my opinion his contract would have looked really good to most teams by the trade deadline and I feel they could have gotten more value for him.

ANOTHER YEAR OF MEDIOCRITY FOR BOSTON.

Yo I just came in here to talk about the celtics... but accidentally clicked on your sig, and saw that horrible ass music video. How you look like hipster Tsarnaev?

They're champions. They're supposed to be caught up to.

You don't win it all and then decide to blow up the team

The Chi (South Side)
BOSTON JUST GOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SECURE ANOTHER 7TH OR 8TH SEED....RENDERING THEM GOOD FOR A 1ST ROUND EXIT AND NO LOTTERY PICK (AGAIN). IT'S PURGATORY FOR BOSTON, JUST LIKE IN THE EARLYS 2000S.

well given that they totally struck out in free agency this year with both picks and cap space, they'd certainly be better off NOT making the playoffs as u mentioned in order to get legit pieces.
