18 and 11 ,18 and 9 is garbage? dont bring up defense cause there's guys in the nba that cant play defense. Lee isn't the only one.

What are those numbers supposed to represent? Cause they sure as fukk aren't Lee's averages on the season and he hasn't had any games this year where he put up those numbers.

Like I said. Quit going off on reputation and shyt that he did 3 years ago. He is not a good player at this point in his career.

how am i going off reputation if he just put up those numbers 2 years ago. Lee got benched because Draymond was the better fit with the starters. It had nothing to do with offensive numbers.

The same year Lee put up 18/11, the Lakers were a playoff team. The same year Lee put up 18/9, Lance Stephenson led the NBA in triple doubles.

Today, the Lakers are going on their third year in a row of missing the playoffs and have had the 2nd worst record in the league over that span. Lance Stephenson is on his 3rd team in as many seasons and averages 4 PPG.

What he did 2 or 3 seasons ago is irrelevant in regards to how he's playing now.

you can't go by that though. You really think Lance stephenson can't play?? it's all about situation. Josh smith wasnt playing at all with the clippers. but was playing well in houston. Goes back to houston and puts up 19 last night. Look at Mo williams. He was playing well when Kyrie was hurt. Now he is getting DNPS. But according to your logic, Mo williams isn't any good.

Except it's not a situation where David Lee wasn't getting minutes in Boston. It's not like they brought him here with the sole intention to play over the players over him.

He came into the season as the starter, expected to play the most minutes of all the bigs. But he got benched because of how awful the team was performing with him in the lineup. Even when he would come off the bench the team played worse every time he was in the lineup and it's not like this is just a biased eye test from me, numbers support this as well. Of the top 11 players on this team in terms of minutes played, Lee is the only one who has a negative net rating when he's on the court.

Like I repeatedly said in this thread, there is a reason why you will not find any Celtic fans upset with him being benched and shipped out, and it's only people from other fanbases that think it's outrageous
