Goggins has been married like 3 times so this isnt surprising. He strikes me as someone who struggles with his very personal relationships as hes EXTREMELY self centered. Like im not sure he fathoms the idea of external validation.

In fact, theres word around the Seal Teams that he wasnt well liked even among them, for much of the similar reasons. Notice how he and Jocko Wilink have NEVER done a podcast or interview together.

I’m not going to judge him for this until I hear his side of the story. There’s a lot of rangers bats where guys do 6 on 6 off or sometimes even 4, so I can’t imagine what it must be like for a Seal. That type of lifestyle simply ruins relationships, you’re mental health, and can make parenting nearly impossible. And that’s without taking into consideration all the normal relationships problems you go through. It’s hard to explain shyt like this to a woman let alone a child

He's a tough mf, but he's only one of those tough mfs when he has someone (wife/girlfriend) someone in his corner to witness it. If he doesn't have someone to check in with or someone to prove wrong, he is self loathing.

He says it in it books. It's usually one of his girlfriend's or wife that's witnessing him hard working or he usually has someone he's running back to to say "hey look what I did!"

He doesn't do it for himself. But he has done a lot and has incredible work acumen.

Goggins has a similar personality type as me. He describes himself as an introvert. And we're often called self-centered or mean. But really intro nikkas be extremely disciplined and focused on the things we want to achieve and you kinda ignore forget bout personal relationships. Plus I think DG has ADHD too.

I’m an introvert as well. And I’D NEVER not be there for my daughter.
