This show is gonna get nominated for an Emmy and/or Golden Globe. Lil’ dikky deserves it and this season certified the series as being one of the best shows on television.
I know it’s highly unlikely it won’t happen. But there has to be mash up episode of Dave and “Atlanta.”

I wonder, was Mike lying when he said Dave Surgery/performance idea was great? Its seems like he was only going along with it because he knew it would fail. He’s already distancing himself away from lil dikky. Not going on the tour and that meeting he had the label executive without Dave.
Great season finaleAfter such a bleak season, the payoff of Dave making things right with GaTa and performing/touring with him was great

So many layers to this. Obviously that GaTa is actually Dave (in addition to Lil dikky being Dave.)
But often in my own relationships with the people closest to me I put the same type pressure on them I’d put on myself and sometimes I just don’t come through on the hard work but I’m quick to take my inner thoughts out on someone else I value as much as I value myself.
I think that’s what this episode showed
GaTa and Lil dikky 2 sides of the same coin. They needed each other to get to where they going.
Lowkey, I know I said it before, but this show is a series of moments Lil dikky actually lived through but dramatized how he felt in retrospect or how he wished he handled it.
I think the season/finale is how he did handle his relationship with GaTa vs how he wished he did.
GaTa was everything Lil dikky wished he was but could never be.
Lil dikky had everything GaTa needed but could never get.
Now I’m thinking the show was made from the start to highlight GaTa. Honor breh for all he’s done so he can increase his gander.

Waiting til the season finale of season two to reveal Dave and Gata have the same first name is hilariously insane.
El’s had my favorite line of the episode tho “continue paying me to be your friend, and I’ll always be there for you”
Amazing close to a great season.
they have mentioned this in season 1, but gata's first name is "davionta". maybe his nickname to his momma is dave as well.
