Vado was always dope to me...He certainly a better rapper than East and is more charismatic. Signing to Dj Khaled was a terrible move but he also is very lazy. He should had been way bigger than he was.

besides him getting lazy and comfortable...his team or lack of has always been the problem. even when he was with Cam and mostly when he was with Interscope. partly why Cam stopped fukking with him. too many people pulling him in different directions.
then when he got with Khaled it was fine and in better hands but when Khaled fell out with Birdman it fukked Vado because he was effectively signed to Cash Money through Khaled. he's basically been on the shelf since. during that time he was sitting on nearly a full albums worth of music that Q-Tip was overseeing.
now his team seems to be as you said, non existent. didn't even promote Sinatra 2 and it was really good.
