These were the worst songs on the album. He had some heat Idk why he thought having Gunna on the album was a good idea.
The label couldn’t find him a single to get him any real buzz. You can tell they just threw shyt up on the wall hoping they get lucky with one feature. Again worked in 2004 but not in this era. If they didn’t have a single, they should’ve just shelved it or get a Drake stimulus package.

they think these songs will bring them mass appeal (pardon the pun) so they push songs like that instead of focusing on making a cohesive album. nowadays, these songs can still be hits without being on the album. the album is actually good when you take out the bad songs but I'll tell you, I was never anticipated for the album at all off the strength of Survival Pacc which was the Gunna and Max B songs. album was surprisingly better than expected if you were basing on those tracks.

probably my favorite song on the album, I think 1st single shouldve been Mama...then this. but hey, what do I know?
Yeah. I don't think they wanted this to have too much of an NY sound. That's the only thing I can think of, since those songs have a very New York sound to them.

I hear you but if thats what labels think now, then :snoop: good music is good music. look at a lot of the songs Rick Ross releases as singles. a lot of them dont have a distinct regional sound. a lot of smooth shyt and good production. thats what these songs represent for East but for some reason they wanted to push the Gunna and Max B songs.
