Going back to "My Dirty Little Secret," I think the video makes up for what the song lacks, imo. They did the whole "Big Trouble In Little China"/"Showdown in Little Tokyo" concept and executed it well. 400K views in two days is a good sign. I know I watched it a few times since it dropped.





He only does media runs the week before his album drops. That's not enough time to convert followers into consumers. This whole "I'm gonna do Eastmixes and preview tracks until the album drops, pull a bait and switch at the last minute and pray my followers still cop" shyt needs to stop though. He needs to go the singles route. And I won't engage in any flop talk with ya'll until his debut album drops. He has a few records on this one he can actually do something with. Let's see how he gon' act.

I like Dave east

I think he's got a good flow

But I feel people saying he's missing 'something'.

But he has enough of the other variables to carry him thru til he and his team figure out what the 'something' is that hes missing

I think it's just a way to focus his lyrics more so it's more than just generic NY shyt

But I liked kairi Chanel more than this EP, it felt too long for an EP, if they'd chopped a few songs and skits off that would help

Will def check for his new project tho

I'm not really interested in the songs that are marketed as rnb crossover joints tho, just give me joints like the hated, phone jumping, and type of time, off the last project.

I feel like he is a hybrid of currensy and Lloyd banks flow wise and stylistically. That seems like the best angle for him

Should have just called it a mixtape. The whole "EP" label doesn't stick.
