I think it's more a conclusion people want to draw based on associations.
Him associating with white supremacist isn't conclusive
His right wing stance like NIMBY,anti LGBTQ et al isn't conclusive
Him soft shoe tapdancing for Trump "let's give him a chance" and most of the audience at his shows now being right wing cacs isn't conclusive
I have a feeling no amount of evidence would change you dave stans mind. Even if He exclusively came out and declared his voting intentions and political allegiance
Sounds more like a "purity test" than anything.
It would be more fair to disagree with certain aspects of Chappelle's beliefs than to suggest he's a white supremacist.

If you let these people tell it, they never made mistakes or in retrospect took a wrong stance on an issue. They were politically and socially astute and perfect right out the wombs.
This is why my favorite stories is someone who leads a witch hunt against someone or something only for a short time later for them to be found to be doing the same or even worse shyt.

I don't agree with the dress wearing thing but I'm not gonna get outraged over it. I liked Mrs. Doubt fire and the Nutty Professor. As far as Dave it's a bad look these days but like someone said. I'm not gonna go crazy for what Dave did over 30 yrs ago. Since 06 he's stated that he doesn't move like that. So I'm rolling with that. As far as these other dudes c00ning to stay on top of the game (pause if necessary) it is what it is. I don't support it.
