Dave is the GOAT and no one is close to me:wow:

Unbelievable. The way he depicted the Dorner story was amazing.

Love how Dave can be hella serious but still find a way to make you laugh in there.

Dorner story was one of my favorite parts of this special.

Cuz it brought up so many valid points and it’s like it’s daring someone to feign ignorance or act like “they don’t get it” when he uses it in that context

i personally don't understand the criticism of Chappelle for not mentioning the Black women who have been notable victims of police brutality over the last several years.

Dave had a point in naming the men/boys, he tied them to his content, there's a disclaimer on the YouTube description with a personal note from him about the content not being refined, it said on the screen that it was his first time on stage in 86 days and you can tell it wasn't refined because he had a notebook with him that he kept checking on.

this is something that he's working out in real-time, and we rarely see that on film with comics. He just felt it was important to get it out to the public right now. I imagine his next "real" special will address the women in some way...............and if anything, he might even tie the criticism of him not mentioning the Black women to a bit.

That was a sermon. He is really top of the food chain, he can get a crowd to come to his town to watch the first live performance since the pandemic.
I thought the Don Lemon mention was fine but Candace Owens I think he should have left her out of it. Ignoring people like that is the best tact. I have never heard her perspective on anything cause I know what time it is. Same with Jordan Peterson, David Rubin, Ben Shapiro etc. I don't have time to waste like that.
crazy how much reach these grifters get

this is what happens when you enable idealists and snowflakes too much. when you expect perfection, doing good isnt good enough.

i applaud dave for sticking his neck out like this and giving us raw interaction because most folks would just keep this in their back pocket for fear of this dumbass backlash. these idiots know what his point is and they know he's right. but they are so willing to die on the hill of their idealism that they cant see past it.

and if they know dave, then they know his next special is going to have bars specifically for these folks that are searching for little nitpicks here and there to try and disregard his overall message. and they not gonna like that because then they'll feel like theyre being picked on when really he's just telling these idiots the truth about themselves :russ:
