And with Dave’s increased profile and leverage within the industry he is utilizing his platform to DEMAND renegotiation. Which he has the 100% right to do.


I don’t see how this is a bad thing in the slightest. Its the smartest thing he could have ever done honestly and its a hell of a power play.


Nobody is breaking two sweats when America’s White Goddess Taylor Swift publicly utilizes her platform and fanbase to try to force renegotiations for the ownership of her back catalog Masters. She’s even re-recording those old songs and is vocally telling her fans NOT to listen to the OG’s once the remakes are released. Thats SMART. Dave is employing almost the same strategy and should be celebrated for his present acumen rather than hindered by his past naivety
