The fans thought Vogel was the problem too. We'll see who the next sacrifice will be.
While I don't think Vogel was THEE problem...did Vogel not just get swept? That said, he certainly was A problem. Biggest issue for him was not figuring out how to make Westbrook work. It was an impossibility, but unfortunately...coaches get bushed before players with untradeble contracts when you miss the playoffs.

Love how these pieces are queued and ready to go minutes after the game. All they had to add was one blurb about the actual game last night and hit submit

These guys ain't shyt. :pachaha:

Was Vogel really that bad though? In the sense of firing for Ham.

I don't know what coaches are out there that could get whatever team we put out next year over the hump...but I do know Ham's starting lineups and amateur hour rotations cost the Lakers many games that could have given us a less difficult playoff opponent. I know he left challenges unused that could have altered close games...like game 2. I know some of the scoring runs he let the Lakers defense try to play through changed the momentum of games at times like game 1 and game 5. And it sure seems like his lack of game-planning and adjustments cost us dearly pretty much every third quarter this series. I know Jeannie aint tryin to pay him to sit at home, but his weaknesses are obvious and unacceptable at a pro level. Time to move on
