Little is known about Bane. He was born in prison and trained in the darkest forms of deception by the League of Shadows, but rumor has it he was cast out due to his extreme behavior.

While his true motives remain a mystery, he appears to be building an army of followers in the dark tunnels underneath Gotham in order to create his own League of Shadows.

Like always take it with a grain of salt but apparently this guy is always in the know.

So Bruce retires, comes back, and retires again? Doubt it.

This was the theory I originally proposed back at that other shyt hole which's name is not to be spoken

Bruce gets locked up by Bane
JGL takes up the Batman mantle while he's locked up
Gets his ass killed in a very public way, everyone thinks Batman's dead
Bruce breaks out, "Rises" from the Lazarus Pit comes back, saves the city

That's when he becomes legend and people think that he can't die.
