it's a shame they didn't let kingpin finish the season with a win like thanos, then next season have the fall off come slowly.

he's too powerful a villain to have a fall off in 1 episode.

or maybe next season they could have vanessa running his organisation with silvermane/the eyetalians biting at their heels.

This was an annoying season between Karen and Nadeem’s wife.

Never knew Daredevil was a sponge for punishment like that. Also I wasn’t really feeling his fight scenes in this season. Felt like he was more clean last season but maybe it’s because he literally never stopped to heal and also he was still trying to recover from the building collapse? Idk

So who is Dex supposed to be at the end?

I thought the Kingpin getting put back into prison was dope he’s always in and out of prison. I was happy nikkas finally got to see him wear that rose. Anyone think Vanessa gonna die? I think she will...

Just finished it

What I liked
  • Fisk, Daredevil, Bullseye were all written and played well, all had their distinct characters, all had enough screen time, really can't complain about them.
  • The lack of ghost ninja slaying in general, villains who I can take more seriously
  • The story was well written too for most part (got weaker by the end) especially the storyline about Fisk's machinations. Well to be fair all the storylines were abut Fisk's machinations and it was introduced well.

What I didn't like
  • Guess because of Bullseye I expected Karen Page dying in the episode named after her, thought it would be a send off episode to her, was slightly disappointed it didn't happen, Marvel Netflix creators could be bolder with killing important non-villain characters it makes you take the whole plot and the tension of the show more seriously. Killing just that old priest and a one season character (Nadeem) not gonna cut it, they need to start to kill cornerstone characters. They killed Elektra in season two but not really and we knew it... they "killed" her again in Defenders, I'd bet she will reappear...
  • Another cheesy moral lesson about the power of the law at the end. They made Fisk so powerful and they detailed his machinations so well that how they took him down was kind of abrupt and unrealistic with that mobile testimony and that Daredevil could just find and make Fisk's aid squeal without any explanation.

Overall, the "didn't like" part might be longer due to longer explanation but I liked this season, I think it's up to pair with the first one or slightly behind it and definitely better than the second one. It has its mistakes mostly that the show creators are still not bold enough to my taste with the character killing and they still don't let the moral lessons go but it is one of the best Netflix Marvel seasons so far, they did a good job overall.

Nah. Frank knows DD too well. It's more likely that he would have just assumed that Matt was being railroaded in the media for killing bad guys like he was.

Plus did you watch the Punisher series? :mjlol: this Punisher ain't about protecting the innocents breh. He don't care about protecting nobody. Just revenge

You got me there. I didn't finish watching Punisher. I went back to read some of his comics and got stuck on Ennis' run:ohhh:
