I liked this season. But season one has a slight edge for me.

clancy Brown was black smith? The fuk? totally missed that, didn't they tout "black smith" as a rival to Madame gao in the drug trade though? what a let down

looking at the season now that and the black sky reveal were major major let downs

Yeah that was something that was easy to miss. And they didn't touch on it after the cabin scene either.

It was like the conclusion of the Punisher story got shortchanged by the way The Hand stuff was ramping up.

Even in the comics, they never really say.

Stick trained Matt as a kid, next thing you know, Matt's in college and meeting Elektra, with both of them knowing Martial Arts.

It's always halfway made me wonder if they both had this innate ability that was just pushed to the forefront by Stick's Saiyan ass training method... which is why he went looking for Matt in the first place, while Elektra was driven insane by voices in her head as a young child and instinctively sought out Stick after her dad's death.

Also note that Stick claimed Matt's powers weren't due to the chemicals and Elektra developing the ultra mystical ninja skillset that you would expect "Ultra Mystical Ninjas" to have.


I hope Marvel never bothers exploring it, though. They're prone to ruining folks with bullshyt retcons (Wolverine's past, Tony Stark's parents, Cable+Stryfe, etc. etc...)

nah, it's a valid one. Even with the comics, we just don't know.

Besides, all I give are long winded tangent/analogy/complaint filled explanations. Can't help it.

that he's probably jealous of Matt because of Karen too though.

Tell Matt to be careful and keep it pushing. My disdain for Karen revolves more around the persistence of the character and the actress that plays her though.
