Finally trying to finish season 2 before I watch Luke Cage

On episode 10 and this shyt is kinda trash

Punisher is carrying the season foreal

I know im late as hell but I just now realized Kingpin is played by dude from Law & Order Criminal Intent

Crazy that i never noticed before

Now that I have noticed that,his performance doesn't seem to be as good as I thought

He just seems like a bald headed version of his character from L&O

Finally finished this season in prep for luke cage.


It was decent.

For me it goes dds1>dds2>JJS1 for these marvel netflix shows.

It had some ups and downs. Elektra was cool. Punisher stole every single scene he was in.


In fact Punisher was so good it made some of the rest of the show look bad in comparison. Foggy and Karen scenes went from meh,filler in s1 to just plain annoying this season.

I still think these seasons are too long. I think they would hugely benefit from dropping to 10 episodes. Lose the filler. That was my main problem with jessica Jones.

These arcs don't seem to have enough meat in them to fill out 13 episodes. But that's a problem with lots of television these days.

I really dont get the Jessica Jones hate

Season 1 was piff and IMO it was better than both seasons of Daredevil

I mean i can see people saying season 1 of DD was better but its no way in hell season 2 of DD is better

Also Killgrave is probably the best villain Marvel has had so far...movies included

I like the first story arc in daredevil season 2 with the punisher

I think the ninja not having any personality hurt thr show

Punisher and Kingpin both bounce off Matt well the ninjas are video game villians

Don't get what shortening a would do other than make it feel rushed and not really accomplish shyt.

Na man let these cats work.... I could only cosign these so called "shorter seasons" only if they pull that AMC shyt and drop two 10 ep halves a year like with TWD or other shows

I think all of the Netflix shows should be 10 episodes...they have all meandered a bit and would much better if they dropped 3 episodes and tightened things up.

Nah, I think they'd can do 13-18 IF they do the storylines right. I think the problem lies with them trying to tie in every storyline together...especially with Daredevil. It also doesn't help that they're repeating the format for each of them - Luke Cage's building = DD's hallway. I think they would play better if some of the storylines went elsewhere, maybe paying off in the following season, or another show.
