There was no storylines for him because he was Luke Cage all the fukking time 24/7. Damn near every comic book character has their regular persona and their superhero alter ego then you can juggle and play with different scenarios and plots between the both of them. Plus they got rid of his bar in season 1, killed off Cottonmouth, his barbershop was closed for business in season 2.. basically there was just nothing for his character to do besides run around Harlem all day and most of the episodes were filler and repeated scenes. They should've just did the seasons "24- Jack Bauer" style and have it all play out in one day.I never saw that. I saw a lot of praise for it. And the first half of the first season with Cottonmouth was cool. After that, it got corny and the main actor comes off too square to play a brotha like Cage. Dude has absolutely no grit. And after that video of the white dude playing with his nipples we saw why
