EXCLUSIVE: Daredevil Season 3 Viewership Down 57% On Season 2 In First Week
From Netflix's perspective, why continue to produce a show and partner with your new competition (after they have pulled their biggest movies from your platform) on a bunch of shows with declining viewership? If these shows were doing gandbusters, then I'm sure Netflix would have continued with them. But It just doesn't make sense for Netflix to continue producing content through a lame duck partnership with what is now their primary rival. Same with Disney.
Instead, they'll devote their resources to content they wholly own and are in charge of creatively, instead of paying Marvel TV to develop shows for them.
This is one of my issues with streaming. If some shyt doesn’t stream high in one or two weeks shyt would be considered a failure.
But this makes me wonder how the hell is orange is the new black still on there
