Yeah I think they have already made contracts for those seasons. So they are required to complete those seasons before canceling them. They'll probably announce the cancellations before they premiere and title them the final seasons for each.

Yup. Contracts for X amount of episodes and now is the renegotiation part. Netflix has no reason to keep airing these shows whatsoever

I doubt they take them off the channel. It's Netflix whose whole philosophy is to build their own catalog, and that goes beyond spite to plain a waste of money. Even if they removed them people would just pirate it anyway.

Yeah I don’t see them removing them. Well no time soon anyway. But I’m thinking long term. The licenses will expire and obviously marvel won’t reup.

Homie JJ has an 88% on RT, which is the best place to gauge critic consensus. It’s not universally panned in the least.

And more thank likely this is its last season. Along with punisher
It's rated 67% among the audience and you can look up reviews everywhere and read how bad S2 was received. Universally was strong on my part but it did have a huge drop off from the first season.

That’s fair. But at the same token season 2 of most of these shows didn’t get the same critical reception as the first seasons. Now while I like Jessica Jones’ second season and daredevil’s second season and Luke’s, all three for a lukewarm reception critically.

But again that’s not what this is about. This is about money and pissing contests. The ratings for all of the shows may have dropped (we’ll never know lol) but this is about power moves.

Besides being huge fan of Fisk, I fail to see why people hyped S3 up so much....

But that's the beauty of it, we have have different things that we like, or dislike.

But to answer your question,

Recent Shows Ive watched that I enjoyed much, much better than DD S3:

DD S2.

Badlands S1, S2, S3.

Fargo S1, S2.

Hill House.

Stranger Things S1.

7 Seconds.

The Night Of.

Altered Carbon.

That OJ Simpson Show.

The Exorcist S1.

Fargo S2 for me, is what DD S3 is to you. Best TV Ive seen in a while, since The Wire actually. Hill House is right up there too.
I can't speak on the source material translation of Daredevil, but purely from a filmic and fictive perspective, S3 is greater than S2 in every way imaginable: plot/structure, character-arcing, pacing, exposition, dialogue, thematically (particularly its linings of morality), tone, personal, efficacy etc.

Most of those other shows you listed range from having their moments (Haunting of Hill House; The Night Of) to fan-fiction without the soul of the original (Fargo) to shyt that I had to end up cutting off because it reached a point of ridiculous banality (The Exorcist; Altered Carbon). I fukks with Stranger Things, as it's one of a very few shows in recent memory that managed to hit all the right notes.

I just Google'd Into the Badlands -

This looks hilarious in all the worst ways. You watched three seasons of this shyt?

Lord have mercy.
