Mahoney discovering that Matt was Daredevil on the roof after his Bullseye Fight after all those years would of been 1000x better,
Bro woulda been the definition of the Wee Bey gif after remembering all the times he was wrong about DD being the bad guy (even tho he comes around at the end of S3) and the dynamic between them going forward would of been waaay better
Crazy fukking dumb,that fact is got far enough in production for it to be damn near entirely filmed for someone like Feige to say “this is bullshyt” is astounding

I know you’re not really fukking with this, but to me the rest of this show imo “Mostly” works albeit with some jarring stitching together as long as they including the original cast to bring it all together a bit more, but the Idea that episodes 2-7 were originally supposed to be episodes 1-6 of a 2 part season, and that’s all we would be getting for moths while waiting for the second half woulda had the whole fanbase that campaigned for this back turning on them

i honestly think the OG Netflix show wouldn't be as beloved if it was a weekly release. there was plenty of boring shyt going on during those seasons. that said, i'm not gonna argue this isn't as good. it's not. Fisk fukkin sucks on this new show. he's incredibly boring. i remember when the netflix show premiered, Dinofrio was in contention for top MCU villain. also, Matt needs friends. his new girlfriend is hot, but fukkin boring. he has new colleagues, and i don't even know their names. i feel like they've had 4 minutes of screen time each. who the hell is the black chick? she just works with him. and then there's the cop guy... Officer... fukk if i know? who are these people? they got Ben Urich's neice as a thru-line, but i don't even think they've used her little "Real NY" interestitials consistently. i don't even like those, but if you're gonna do it, keep it consistent.
It’s definitely been Disneyfied because it’s following the same formula of every other Disney + show:
2 main characters with everyone else hugely underdeveloped.
ASS action scenes.
Rushed 35-40 minute episodes.
Excessive NASTY looking CGI.
The dark tone and danger also isn’t there and Kingpin has been completely toned down.
Season 2 will definitely be better because the old cast will be back. But do you see Disney suddenly changing the episode run times? Season 2 is also only going to be 8 episodes.
internet keeps speculating that Foggy comes back, b/c he did in the comics, etc.... here's the thing - the way they shot his death, there's no friggin way to make that feasable. it's gonna be incredibly stupid if he comes back to life after we saw him die. he died. there's no way he could have survived that even using comic book logic. it wasn't vague. he didn't "die offscreen." he was shot dead, before our eyes. we heard his heart stop. i can't even imagine the poorl;y written fukkery that would lead to a Foggy rebirth. are they gonna have a character who can raise the dead? they don't do shyt like that. they had a character who relied on a "mafical amulet," and they mentioned it once then shot the dude in the head. are they gonna do some super stupid bullshyt with the Hand or something? how can this show, with this serious tone resurrect Foggy without it being incredibly stupid and unbelievable?

That punisher debut was top tier for the first three or so episodes.. then him in the courtroom yelling I'm the big bad punisher would've had a season thread lit. Then him running thru the prisoners

Nothing boring in season 3.. The Hand was the worst part
The Hand sucked. Elektra storyline wasn't great, a lot of the karen stuff was tedious, etc. There was plenty of down time. if you had to watch 45 minutes every 7 days, it wouldn't have been as highly regarded. but the action in this show isn't as good. the opening fight with Bullseye this season sucked. people wanted it to be great but it simply wasn't. best action scene was when he fought (and seemingly killed) the cops for a minute at the end of that episode... then cop showed up next episode with light bruising
