Netflix "cancelled" those shows because Disney made it clear they wanted their characters back so it was basically Netflix saying "we're not wasting money on this if you're going to eventually pull these characters anyway"

I thought it was Disney who chose not to renew their licensing with Netflix because they knew they had Disney+ coming.

I actually agree with him. Recasting left and right defeats the purpose of keeping things canon.
Its one thing to recast a dead actor. (honestly i think they would be better off with an in universe explanation still. they pulled an alternate version from a different timeline or some shyt) But recasting just because you want a different actor they shouldn't do at all.
