Funny thing is i thought the chemisty of iron fist and luke cage actually worked in the defenders show.
almost like they need to learn the same lesson the comics learned back in the 70s.
That these two characters work better as a duo than as solo characters. Their solo comics also struggled too, but they were always more successful together.
in fact Jessica Jones works better with Luke too imo. Should have just combined all three into a single series instead of giving them all solos.

The member berries for Jessica Jones are strong in this thread. That show never recovered after Purple Man. Hogarth was a minor character in both Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, and I argue she's one of the best things in both shows.

Yes, it’s a direct continuation, this is essentially the 4th season that got cancelled, Watch all 3 seasons immediately, it’s in the conversation of the best live action production Marvel has ever made, and for damn sure it’s the best marvel tv series ever (this is the general consensus btw)

Watch both seasons of The Punisher (He’s also in this trailer) if you have time too, also fire (mainly season 1)

The Defenders, this is a team up series of the Netflix heroes (DD, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist) honestly it’s not that great, but you Might be a bit lost on why Matt is the way he is at the start of DD season 3 without it, could just watch a recap on Youtube

Punisher is introduced in season 2 of Daredevil, but both of the seasons fir his own show story wise are pretty self contained to just him outside of a couple of side characters from DD showing up now and then, but the actor (Jon Bernthal) is an incredible punisher so definitely worth a watch too

I don’t know bro, I think they’ll be a time jump somewhere here to somewhat explain the end of DD S3 to where Fisk and Matt are now, as in the first couple eps and then fast forward to present day for the rest maybe?

Nope lol, absolutely not.

He wasn't perfect but it was more about the writing than the performance. Recasting him when everyone else is coming back, maybe even Finn would be dumb and a betrayal to the Defender fandom.

I would accept Uncle Jerome from Snowfall as Luke Cage though if absolutely nessecary after Secret Wars.
