Honestly whoever finishes #2 in the sec west will probably get in.

Especially if michigan st/ohio state/oregon slips up

Big 12 champ is getting in, that schedule is just as nasty as the sec this year

Three way tie scenario in the SEC West

Ole Miss beats Auburn, loses to Miss St.
Bama beats Miss St and Auburn
Miss St loses to Bama Beats Ole Miss.

You can also flip it and if Auburn beats Ole Miss, Miss St beats Bama, Auburn beats UGA and Bama and Miss St beats Ole Miss......3 way tie between Ole Miss, Auburn and Miss State

Then Ole Miss, Miss St and Bama are 1 loss teams, all lost to each other, which means.........entry into the SEC Championship game will be determined by the best combined record of East opponents of the 3 teams.

You can also flip it and if Auburn beats Ole Miss, Miss St beats Bama, Auburn beats UGA and Bama and Miss St beats Ole Miss......3 way tie between Ole Miss, Auburn and Miss State

Wonder how the committee would view the SEC Champ determined by the one millionth tie breaker.

:manny: Plus every time on of them loses in a bowl game they've gotten the ESPN luxury of saying ":sadbron: Doesn't count, they wanted to be in the championship game!" Nobody else gets that when they lose a bowl game no matter how close they were to the championship.

That's not true, i didn't count OSU's lost to clemson last year because they were disinterested after losing to michigan state, the same with Bama and teams from years past.

That argument isn't just an SEC thing.

Like if someone FSU lost to duke in the ACC title game and played in the orange bowl and lost, i would give them that excuse as well. It's valid

I'm talking about ESPN not us. ESPN doesn't give anybody else but the SEC that luxury.

Basically a 12 team playoff is the wave of the future in CFB. There would be no more debates about who deserved and who does not deserve it, no one would be crying for the 13th team to make it because simply they weren't good enough.

If you took the current top 12 teams in the Coached poll right now and did the playoffs, you would have this.

12 Ohio State at 1 Mississippi State - Saturday 3:30 CBS
11 Kansas State at 2 Florida State - Friday 8:00 ABC
10 TCU at 3 Ole Miss - Saturday 12:30 CBS
9 Georgia at 4 Alabama - Friday 5:00 CBS
8 ND at 5 Michigan State - Saturday 8PM ABC
7 Oregon at 6 Auburn - Saturday 4:00 Fox Sports

who would complain or argue or cry about these games?

Bama ass DC
it's very very possible. they can all end up with 2 losses if they lose to UGA in the ship game. and it may not be room for them if you got a undefeated Fla St, 1 loss ND, Oregon, Mich St, Baylor, KSU, etc

It's possible FSU would lose 3 games in the SEC.

Outside of Jameis they're a flawed team.
shyt, everybody has flaws, even in the SEC.
Not in that raggedy ass EAST..LOL. Maybe 1-2 in the West. Losing 2 in the Pac12 tho, fukk that.

It would take years before something like this happens. Look at how long it took FBS CFB to even get a playoff :mjcry:

teams like WVU and KSU were underrated. Ok St too before they lost tehir QB.

Problem is, them being ranked poorly will hurt the Big 12 chances.

Baylor/TCU need each other to win out.
