whaaaaaatWent from Jaz-O to Jay-Z......is it gonna go from Al Haymon to Al Jay-Mon next?
Every time there's news about another offer being rejected, the Haymon fighters look worse. More simple minded bullshyt from fighters. They're counting money they don't have and turning down guaranteed $.
And in some of these cases, the offers were never made in the first place. That Broner $40 mil offer looking funny in the light...
First, I can tell you for a fact the $40 mil number isn't true. AB is lying. Trust me.Breh, how's it looking funny in the light, when 3 MORE Haymon fighters are saying they were contacted the same way (by a few Camelettes instead of Jay-Mon himself)?
The most successful people take a leap of faith. Al Haymon is showing brothers how to be bosses and not cap their potential. Signing to Roc Nation would be signing up for a 9-5 honestly.Every time there's news about another offer being rejected, the Haymon fighters look worse. More simple minded bullshyt from fighters. You're right about success and leaps of faith. But how are you not taking a leap of faith by signing with a new player in the boxing game that is a power player in Sports and Entertainment? And how is it like a 9 to 5 again? The most successful people take a leap of faith. Al Haymon is showing brothers how to be bosses and not cap their potential. Once they sign the dotted line, they're told when and where they are going to fight without much input if any. They'll do all the footwork with gaining their popularity and not be able to benefit the most from it. What can Roc Nation offer these boxers that they cannot get themselves? A guaranteed capped check. Probably sign those cats to some 360 deals. You're right about success and leaps of faith. I understand your point about empowering boxers, especially as it relates to Floyd, Mayweather Promotions, and that ridiculous CBS deal. But Roc Nation Sports has done a lot for it's athletes so far. They got Kevin Durant the biggest sneaker contract in the history of sports. And the list goes on with them. It's less of a risk to trust Al Haymon. It's safe. There's no leap there. And we all know it isn't about any of that anyway. Al Haymon tells them what to do and they follow him blindly because he has monopolized the belts, the talent, and the road to Floyd.
How do you know any of that? You haven't seen any of the contract language and none of us know how they'll deal with big name fighters. Don't just assume nonsense. We have seen Al Haymon's ridiculous contracts. Those are terrible. And they can offer them more guaranteed $ than they've ever had and better marketing opportunities outside of boxing than anyone. They're throwing money around like nothing.Once they sign the dotted line, they're told when and where they are going to fight without much input if any. The fighters -- who wished not to be named -- tell us that just like Broner's courting, Jay Z never personally reached out ... sending his people to make contact instead and we're told it rubbed the fighters the wrong way.
