I never said he sucked but he shouldn't of went 2nd overall tho
bradley beal wouldve got vonleh'd playing behind henderson who they JUST finally smartened up and got rid of after all these years

damian lillard wasnt needed after just drafting kemba a year prior

harrison barnes wouldntve made as much of an impact on the teams success as mkg did

drummond wouldve been a better pick, but that was a huge stretch at #2 that im sure NO TEAM wouldve took a chance on at that spot after a disappointing uconn season, he wouldve gotten shytted on along with the bobcats franchise in the same vein as the kaminsky pick is being shytted on right now

that being said.. unless they reached and drafted drummond at #2 they wouldve been in a similar or worse predicament as they are at this very moment whether they drafted mkg or not

Is Winslow really that good? He screams Kidd-Gilchrist to me for some reason

He's not. I've said it before but his ceiling if he is able to develop all of his talents will be akin to a fully developed Jimmy Butler. I see him as a defensive stopper, outside shooter, north-south, off-ball cutter type of guy. He's not a star but I think he'll be a great supplementary player.

Nobody wants the Celtics overrated 'assets'

This is so true.. the Celtics have vastly overrated their "assets" the NBA draft is not like the NFL where it helps to stockpile picks and build depth.

I know we like to joke about MJ being on his :mjpls: but what this really proves is that you can stock all these mid to late round picks you want but nobody really values that more than getting a lottery/potential franchise player you want in the top 10.

Ainge had magic happen once with KG, Ray and now hes expecting teams to hand over a star for some middling picks and Jared Sullinger :heh:

i never said he isn't

but you don't turn down a huge package of picks for him and you certainly don't take him over winslow.

:snoop: Winslow is not that fukking good. I think Kacminsky fits better on Charlotte than winslow and he's more of a catalyst individually. Winslow needs a superstar or elite distributor to really function. You can't build around him. He was always a guy that made plays in the flow of the offense or spotting up. He's a role player and at best he'll be a really, really good role player.

When everyone on the planet thinks you're a steal, you're not a steal, you're just overrated as fukk.
