As a Pats fan ima be real with you, players don't fukk with Beli
. They respect him cause he's about his business, but he is damn near too ruthless. He has a history of using you and throwing you to the wolves as soon as you show any sign of regression. He even tried to do it with Brady with Jimmy G. Players know NE isn't the place to get a payday. They expect to get shipped out once it's time to open up the check.
One of the biggest reasons I've always said Tom is more impactful is essentially what Danny is alluding to. The only reason players are ok with how Beli treats them is cause they saw Brady taking it. Beli is gonna have a tough time getting a QB Tom's level to buy in. That's the thing that makes me the most nervous going forward as a Pats fan. This new generation of player isn't gonna take the shyt Tom took from Bill. Hell, Tom's generation of QB wouldn't take it

I can't wait until that ether gets delivered to many of you next year.

You can only go so far pretending like skills positions don't matter. But even still I still think they would have been very good with Brady this season.
No really talks about how many draft picks the Pats miss on. I'm a Lions fan and saw first hand how these clowns reach for guys who "fit" their shytty season. Patricia ruined us.

And that's all that it needs to be, he has gotten players rings and an opportunity to win, if they want hugs they should go to their mothers. Bill makes it clear what he is about and the players know this coming in.
