He was going to get his $27 million regardless, his contract wasn't fully guaranteed(just means that if the Celtics were to release him they would only be on the hook for $14 million). Horford wasn’t going anywhere after the season he just had so it was just a technicality to make it fully guaranteed. NO way Horford is not part of this team on the last year of his deal in 2023.

Yeah we already have Theis as Insurance, he is unplayable Vs the Heat but he held his own Vs the Nets and the Bucks. I wish we can get someone better and we’d have to attach picks because of his salary.

I think it hinges on Grant Williams. He has taken strides, but he's been inconsistent at times. Like the last stretch of the regular season he was bad, and the entire Heat series he was bad. If he can be more consistent then I would be ok. But I would love another big who can stretch the floor and hit the 3. That would open things up for Jayson and Jaylen

The Cs should really look to run offense through the low block. Smart has shown he can get his shot in the post on Curry. If the double comes start swinging. The Cs as a collective are bigger and should be punishing The Warriors down low. There is no way you can ever have Poole & Curry in the game at the same time and not force the issue at the basket.
