I tried to tell people they should've offered Saquan 42 for 3 years and put Jones on the non exclusive tag. If a team wanted to over pay him they could have him. I don't think he was regarded that high around the league and would have been a Giant for only 32 mil this year. If he plays well you can pay him if not you let him walk. Daboll wasn't going to fix what's broken. He does not have a high ceiling and we've seen that for years.

Made his money on Saquon back and nobody blinked an eye.......made Saquon look like he should be grateful to play with.....McCaffery stayed hurt but there was never even a thought about not paying him........they tried to make Lamar out to be a whole butch and fight him tooth and nail to not give money......and as soon as they do other cac gets paid more without even a back and forth exchange........the franchise tag needs to go at the next CBA
