I was going to stay away from this but I couldn't help myself

BBC: Daniel Craig’s 007 Not Going Anywhere Yet

Daniel Craig hasn’t yet decided on whether he wants to do another Bond movie. Reports in the past 24 hours have suggested that the actor, who’s starred in four 007 movies, has turned down a deal to make any more films in the series.

But separate, authoritative Bond sources have independently confirmed to BBC News that Craig hasn’t made any decision about his future as 007, and that “no decision is likely to be made for a while”.

Earlier this year MGM, which controls the rights to the 007 franchise, told investors that the series was operating on a three-to-four year cycle, which means that the next Bond film isn’t due in cinemas until late 2018 at the earliest.

Why anyone still believes anything the Daily Mail prints is beyond me

I need one more from Craig then he can move on. Pause.

Get Martin Campbell back in the saddle and let them finish the way they started then he can walk into the sunset

I'm sure everyone will ignore the news from the BBC and acknowledge the news from the Daily Mail tho, so you and I will be the only two people having this conversation

Craig has been talking shyt about Bond for awhile, but also stated he's sick of Bond by the time each movie wraps, so it might be a normal feeling for him.

I think he's been great in the role, but he hasn't had a great movie to back him up. And the last one went back to that goofy overly complicated science-fiction type stuff that the Craig era was initially supposed to be against doing.

Native of the NYC, getting fed in the Big D!
Sean Connery was burned out in the role and only returned to it to have one of his projects funded by the studio...

As much as I liked DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, Connery slept walked throughout the movie on top of being mad :flabbynsick: . Film ended up being pretty mediocre to flat out bad considering who you ask...

The same thing happened with a 50-something Roger Moore who has reportedly had his fill of Bond until Cubby upped the purse and he reluctantly returned...A View To A Kill is one of the worst Bond flicks in the franchise. I mean his stunt man was so glaring in this one that it was comical:russ:

The role seems to take an enormous amount of energy and time to endure so it wouldn't surprise me if Craig was just holding out to create a buzz but the man has already slept walked through SPECTRE so perhaps like the other two, accepting more money doesn't equal being reenergized to give his all 100%
Just more going through the motions:manny:

:scust: Kal-el is a terrible actor. He plaied a terrible spy in the man from UNCLE
I liked him in UNCLE...he had the perfect vibe for Napolean Solo.

Not really sure I want Hiddleston as Bond. Dude just comes off as too slight to be what I think Bond should be.
Tom Hardy would be cool. So would Michael Fassbender.
Luke Evans and Richard Armitage would be good choices too.

I would be cool with a Bond flick that is more like Casino Royale as Craig's send off.
Then when they start the new Bond movies they can balls out with the Roger Moore style shenanigans which I am ready to see again in my Bond.
